A quick review of our trip to San Jose

Back in June, which seems like ages ago, Isaiah took his first road trip up to the Bay Area to visit the rest of his California family.  My mom flew down for the drive because we were both panicked about having a 3 month old in the car for 6 hours.  We packed the car to the brim, of course.  Two adults, two dogs and a baby makes for a damn full car.

She sat in the back with him (typical Nana style)(and because we took my Merck mobile which only I am allowed to drive) and sang, fed, and talked to him all the way up to the bay.  Luckily, this face to face interaction was just what he needed and the trip went very smoothly.  He actually took his longest nap to date, 3 whole hours…

During our visit Isaiah met a TON of family and friends.  It was a whirlwind press tour.

We met Grandpa for the first time: At Grandpa's work

It was love a first site.  Now Grandpa John has three beautiful Grandsons to be proud of :)

We met Auntie Michelle and Auntie Kori and got to see our new cousin Kainoa.

We caught up with the Hellraisers original at Owen’s 3rd birthday party.  (It was wonderful to see you all!).  Isaiah met my dear friend Randalyn and her two beautiful children.  He met Auntie Shelia, one of my Mom’s bestest friends in all the land. He met my wonderful friend Samantha, who probably would have taken him home with her, if it wasn’t for Buddah (her pup).

and he met Auntie Erin, who he was able to convince that babies CAN be fun..

It was a wonderful time and a great way to spend my last few work free weeks.
